Independence Day

Independence Day!!! 
Or as most of us like to say to everyone, "Happy 4th of July!"

I know that at this time a lot of people are out of work because it is a holiday.

**Beware this might make you angry if you read my opinion.. so proceed with Caution!**

People are heading to go reunited with family during their long vacation time. Others are going to hang out with friends and families. Some are working and yes unfortunately there are those that are going to be home alone either because they chose to be alone or because they do not have anyone.

This day is to honor that on July 4, 1776 the Declaration of Independence was signed. Today was the first steps in forming, "The United States of America." And since that signing of the Declaration of Independence a lot has changed. And even though I am only 45 years old, I see so many changes of our Independence, well... not so independent anymore.

The Declaration of Independence clearly states, "
We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal; that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. "

Yet, today do we truly honor that? Do we treat each other as equals? Constantly we are all seeing about being politically correct in what you call another race. Even today now, we have to be politically correct in even the genders. The government makes it known constantly that you are judged by the color of your skin and then there is the churches that aren't all welcoming because of the choice in which you live your life.

However, does it truly matter whether your skin is white, black, green, orange, tan, brown, or whatever it may be. And does it really matter if the person decides they want to be a girl or a boy or not even a gender at all. Or if a white person wants to be with a black person. (Oooopps that sentence was not politically correct). Does it really matter at all if a girl wants to be with a girl, or a boy with a boy, or if they want to dress like a girl or dress like a boy.. 

After all, the 2 biggest things that we are hearing about.. all the time being drilled in our minds.. stay with your race, the color of your skin.. or the churches drill in your head the ones that live the way they do if not born that way are doomed to hell.

Ironically with these things that we hear about day after day, is the opposite of what Independence Day is all about. It does not state that race is to stay with race. It does not state that you have to marry or chose a partner of the opposite sex. It does not state what you have to dress like or act like.

In fact, it states very, very clearly... "That all MEN are created EQUAL!"

In fact, it states very, very clearly... "Pursuit of HAPPINESS!"

So.. today don't you "the people," us.. "we the people.." think it is time for us to stand up to the ones that want to brainwash us all the time in making sure that we separate our races... stand up to the churches for preaching about going to hell??? 

Don't you think that it is time for us to stand up against our government and remind them, "We the people of the United States.." Remind them that "All Men are created equal." Tell the government that since "All men are created equal that we have the right to pursue happiness."

Don't you think that it is time for us to stand up against the churches (Especially the mega churches that remind you constantly that "GOD WANTS IT ALL." more speaking about tithes then who you are??? Don't you think that it is time for us to stand up against the churches in trying to scare people and say they are doomed for hell because of their pursuit in happiness?? Shouldn't the churches be teaching about a God that is merciful.. loving.. and that HE and HE alone is the judge of our lives.. not the church or the pastor that stands before his congregation and state, "You are going to hell if you don't change the way you are living your life!"

Our Government and churches in my opinion are the 2 causes that separate us in unity. They government allows the newspapers to print all sorts of races acts against one another.. when in reality if you look deep within it was all pursued by an officer of the law. Yet, it makes sure that if a black man is killed by a white man it is all over the news, papers, social media.. BUT, the newspapers turn their heads if a white man kills a mexican.. or a black man kills a white man.

Yet if WE UNITED AS ONE.. the same coverage no matter what race you are.. that it just as wrong and should be punishable if they all did the exact same crime??? Yet, if WE UNITED AS ONE.. tell the government no more will we hear about racist acts.. but, when a man is treated one way no matter their race, will be treated the same.. Right? After all, "All MEN are EQUAL."

So.. I will end with this: if you agree and are brave for your statement to be heard and not fear the retaliation of what government or churches state.. will you comment on this post? Will you stand up and be heard and say I will fight for what Independence Day is all about?? To be equal to my fellow man.. and pursue happiness.

To stand up against the churches and tell them that they do not have that right to sit back and judge us the people. For if they are a church, that they need to be as Jesus preached.. and love your neighbor, as you love yourself." Churches being led by a pastor that preaches otherwise, drilling that we are separate, that we are doomed for hell, that if we don't give money, etc.. should be brought down and a leader be put in their place that preaches the only thing that Jesus kept saying, "Love your neighbor as you love yourself." That there is only one judge and that is the Father. 

Are you ready to stand in Unity holding hands with one another.. no matter what race they are.. holding hands no matter what they dress like or who they are with.. Will YOU FINALLY say, "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" Who is brave enough to comment, like, or even share, stating.. "We are equal.. we have the right to pursue happiness!"
