On Saturday, October 5, 2019, I decided to go to The Down Town Bar & Grill. As most know I am not one that likes to go to a bar or even one that hangs out there.. But, I have come to realize that it isn't anything that I always had in my head that it should be.. considering it is a bar.
On Saturday's Down Town Bar & Grill has Karaoke night. We all know that when there is Karaoke.. everyone wants to be a singer. I am a people watcher and love to watch when I have attended things like this.. and watch the people sing. But, I have to say that there are some that do have some talent.
I have to say that since this is a bar.. that for our city because we are so small. It really seems like a great place to be. There wasn't just a group here or there and people staying off to themselves. In fact, it was like the whole place, whether you were outside or inside, sitting at the bar or at a table, playing pool, or the video game.. everyone was mingling with everyone and the staff that was working.. even was part of everything that was going on.
I don't think that there was a moment when a customer did not feel as though they weren't part of something. There was a lot of laughter and chattering in that place. The energy was good.. and not once did I feel as though I was in a bar that I imagined that it would be like.
The video's that I am posting are from those that I was able to capture singing.. and with their permission knows that I am posting their videos singing. I want to say that I really did enjoy myself Saturday evening and hope that if you have not checked out this place, that you will have this on your to do list.. to come and join Down Town Bar & Grill Karaoke night!
