Gas Prices Rising (Of Course)

21/11/2013

On my way home from work on Tuesday, November 19th, the gas prices were $2.96. (I did blog about the prices when Memorial Day was approaching).

This morning, as my husband and I went to do some things, believe it or not, the GAS PRICES went up 10¢!!! (As you can see in the photos).

The one picture to your left was Murphy USA in Seneca..  Which is or was the lowest price in town, either 1) Because the manager hasn't done a gas survey yet or 2) Because they haven't put the gas survey into the system to have their district manager to tell them to raise the price.

The picture to your right was taken just a few miles from Murphy USA. Yet,  the night before on my home they were the same price as their competitors.

Now it is obviously going to be explained that there is a problem somewhere with the gas. Whether a gas shortage (like in 2008) or some other lame excuse to try to keep the consumers (US) from getting mad.

However, once again just like Memorial Day, the prices are going up, and guess what???  THIS TIME BECAUSE OF THANKSGIVING is approaching. How far will the price of gas rise in the next coming week???

Even more worrisome, I ask..  How much will the price of gas increase as the year comes to an end and it is the holiday season???

I am no fool and I most certainly do not think that any of the consumers are. Yet, we continue including I, to accept the prices and continue to drive excess amounts, because we have learned to accept things that we believe and are told, we CAN NOT change.

Just an observation again on the gas prices.. Memorial Day proved the same and the prices went back down. Again, the gas prices went up 10¢ over night, but will the prices go back down before Christmas only to rise again?  Or will the prices continue till after the 1st of the new year???

What is your vote??

Faithfulness Versus Problems?

Welcome Baptist Church

Let us first define what ‘Faithfulness,’ ‘Greater,’ and ‘Problems’ mean.
Faithful – adjective:
  • strict or thorough in the performance of duty.
  • true to one’s word, promises, vows, etc.
  • steady in allegiance or affection; loyal; constant.

Great – adjective:
  • unusually or comparatively large in size or dimensions.
  • large in number; numerous.
Problem – Noun:
  • any question or matter involving doubt, uncertainity, or difficulty.
  • a question proposed for solution or discussion.
  • a statement requiring a solution, usually by means of a mathematical operation or geometric construction.
I had to read this several times because I was under the impression that “God is Always Faithful to Us.”  I mean, is He not the same as yesterday, today, and tomorrow?  If that is the truth, then God is, God was, and God will always be.  God Never changes.  We are the ones that change right?  Hence, we are human beings and HE is the GREAT I AM.

Yet, how can one measure what someone’s problems are or was?  How can one say that God’s Faithfulness is Greater than our problems?  How can one even measure God’s faithfulness to one’s problems?  I mean, come on now... Isn't that almost like minimizing one’s problems? Shouldn't our “faithfulness” be the one in question?  We are the ones that are not God, therefore we change.

Our problems are really what dictate (most of the time) what we believe in and what we turn too.. There are times when I see people that never mention God, seen them act as though they don’t believe in God, all of a sudden go threw trials and tribulations and  they are praying all the time, speaking about God as if they have always spoke that way, and attending church regularly.  And lastly, when things are smoothing back out again in their life, they are just exactly as you knew them to be and the Godly moment is gone.

Therefore, “Shouldn’t we be questioning OUR faithfulness and not God’s faithfulness?  Shouldn’t we be questioning OUR faithfulness during OUR problems and NOT question God’s faithfulness during the problems?  Shouldn’t we be ASKING how MUCH GREATER IS OUR FAITHFULNESS during OUR problems, not stating that God’s Faithfulness is greater than our problems, since God Faithfulness in His Love, Mercy, Forgiveness,  Kindness, Patients, etc has never changed!!!!

Is There A Problem With This Sign???

Picture
Yes, I was saddened when this hit the news last night and hearing what had happened.. Even more so, there was a church in my community that had a severe fire as well.. But, I was heart strickened when I saw what this Pastor or someone in that Facility put up there as their sign and what they are saying to their community, their fellow peers, and all that pass by and see that Sign.

We want to go around and say that we are a Christian, that I am a follower of Christ, that I live for God, or I go to Mass or whatever you might want to say, yet here is a church that is suppose to be actually leading people to whatever they believe in, to have them come around to believe in what they do, and of course for the community to come together, dig in your pockets and help keep our "building, church" alive!

I am very angry about this!!!!!!!!!!!

  •  16 Bullet Holes In our Building
  • 3 Bullets Found in Sanctuary
  • Plz Aim Other Direction

Are you kidding me???  Seriously!!!!

If anything if they are not worried about where they are going to spend eternity, shouldn't they be thankful that it was pointed in the direction of the Sanctuary?  You mean to tell me that they would rather the bullets went elsewhere when someone else's life could of been going to spend "eternity" in "hell" because they didn't come to your church?

Yes, a very scary thought of what they are preaching on the inside, if they are letting whomever had the gun pointed at their church, accident or not, to please aim the other direction!

Legacy Outreach Church: You should be more ashamed of what you are saying, then what happened to a "Building"
