Welcome Baptist Church
Let us first define what ‘Faithfulness,’ ‘Greater,’ and ‘Problems’ mean.
Faithful – adjective:
| Great – adjective:
| Problem – Noun:
|
I had to read this several times because I was under the impression that “God is Always Faithful to Us.” I mean, is He not the same as yesterday, today, and tomorrow? If that is the truth, then God is, God was, and God will always be. God Never changes. We are the ones that change right? Hence, we are human beings and HE is the GREAT I AM.
Yet, how can one measure what someone’s problems are or was? How can one say that God’s Faithfulness is Greater than our problems? How can one even measure God’s faithfulness to one’s problems? I mean, come on now... Isn't that almost like minimizing one’s problems? Shouldn't our “faithfulness” be the one in question? We are the ones that are not God, therefore we change.
Our problems are really what dictate (most of the time) what we believe in and what we turn too.. There are times when I see people that never mention God, seen them act as though they don’t believe in God, all of a sudden go threw trials and tribulations and they are praying all the time, speaking about God as if they have always spoke that way, and attending church regularly. And lastly, when things are smoothing back out again in their life, they are just exactly as you knew them to be and the Godly moment is gone.
Therefore, “Shouldn’t we be questioning OUR faithfulness and not God’s faithfulness? Shouldn’t we be questioning OUR faithfulness during OUR problems and NOT question God’s faithfulness during the problems? Shouldn’t we be ASKING how MUCH GREATER IS OUR FAITHFULNESS during OUR problems, not stating that God’s Faithfulness is greater than our problems, since God Faithfulness in His Love, Mercy, Forgiveness, Kindness, Patients, etc has never changed!!!!
