On my way home from work on Tuesday, November 19th, the gas prices were $2.96. (I did blog about the prices when Memorial Day was approaching).
This morning, as my husband and I went to do some things, believe it or not, the GAS PRICES went up 10¢!!! (As you can see in the photos).
The one picture to your left was Murphy USA in Seneca.. Which is or was the lowest price in town, either 1) Because the manager hasn't done a gas survey yet or 2) Because they haven't put the gas survey into the system to have their district manager to tell them to raise the price.
The picture to your right was taken just a few miles from Murphy USA. Yet, the night before on my home they were the same price as their competitors.
Now it is obviously going to be explained that there is a problem somewhere with the gas. Whether a gas shortage (like in 2008) or some other lame excuse to try to keep the consumers (US) from getting mad.
However, once again just like Memorial Day, the prices are going up, and guess what??? THIS TIME BECAUSE OF THANKSGIVING is approaching. How far will the price of gas rise in the next coming week???
Even more worrisome, I ask.. How much will the price of gas increase as the year comes to an end and it is the holiday season???
I am no fool and I most certainly do not think that any of the consumers are. Yet, we continue including I, to accept the prices and continue to drive excess amounts, because we have learned to accept things that we believe and are told, we CAN NOT change.
Just an observation again on the gas prices.. Memorial Day proved the same and the prices went back down. Again, the gas prices went up 10¢ over night, but will the prices go back down before Christmas only to rise again? Or will the prices continue till after the 1st of the new year???
What is your vote??
*Just My Opinion*
