Building our Home Towns of Oconee County S.C. that group has over 5k! It isn't that I was big on posting there.. In fact, I wasn't on Facebook much until I decided that I wanted to run for City Council. Now that I am running for Westminster I try to make sure that I was reading what is going on in Westminster and the surrounding areas.
Understand this.. that "Building our Home Towns of Oconee County S.C" should not be allowed to Block, Ban, or Remove someone because they got their feelings hurt or because they do not agree in the way that I am running my Campaign. Also, it is important that people understand this site was made just for Westminster. Yet was changed because it didn't bring enough people in.
"Building our Home Towns of Oconee County, S.C" should be ABOUT anyone that lives in Oconee County! Unless of course, this person is being disrespectful consistently and has been warned. (I believe since it is over 5k then there needs to be a vote with the other Admins before anyone is Banned). And I also think that the PEOPLE'S posts should not have to be approved before it is posted. If people are following the rules and not selling or promoting or whatever the rules may be for that group.. then posts should not have to be approved. If one posts that does not follow the Community Rules, then they are given a warning, or however it is set up to deal with the individual.
If one, such as this one, and feelings are hurt or they disagree with or how you are living your life (or in my case, my campaign).. Kick me out, Ban me, or Block me.. then the question I must ask the PUBLIC is this.. How many of YOU have had this happen to you with this group? And for those that do NOT hardly posts there, but like to get the information, YOU NEED to ask yourself.. are there posts about businesses, opportunities, etc being withheld because there is a conflict between them and you.. and this leaves you maybe missing out on a great opportunity!
Do NOT fret because of this action that Judy Kelley Miles did to me in the group, "Building our Home Towns of Oconee County, SC" and had me banned. I was motivated and have created a group and a page called, "Building Westminster." I just created it right before this post. And "Building Westminster" will be about Westminster and I believe that it will be very busy when I get it off the ground! Not because of me.. but because of the public. Also, there will be a page called, "Loving Westminster." Lots going on.. but tons of opportunity for those that would like to help.
Now for the group called, "City of Westminster, SC: Campaign Candidates for November 2019 Elections." My question for the public is this.. How many of you knew about this page? When I was first invited to this page, it was suppose to become an open group after all the women went to the City Hall and signed up to be on the ballets in November. However, over and over it was said that they were going to do it, yet they did not. (Yes, I have those messages on group messages on Facebook).
Today I went there so I could go to the files and download the audit. But, I am sure by now you have figured it out.. YES, THEY HAD ME BLOCKED. (I'm just saying Block because I can't find it anywhere). Unfortunately, I could not get what I needed there and went to Westminster Truth Finding page and so thankful they have pretty much posted everything up.. and was able to read what I needed.
On a good note though, early on they kept stressing to us how we needed to screenshot everything and save everything.. So, yes I have pretty much every post that was written in that group and the comments.
What I would like to point out though is this.. Judy Kelley Miles is an Admin in Building Our.. " and Susan Ramey is an Admin on the "City of Westminster..."
Few question I do have is this.. if a group is archived and the name of people are grey.. does this mean they have been removed from the group? If so, there is many, many names grey in the candidate page? If they are promoting and pushing about being transparent, are they being transparent if they have a group closed and private? Surely there isn't anything in that group they don't want us (I'm kicked out) to see, right?
Oh wait.. that is how they work.. behind closed doors they demean people and control them, if not you are gone.. and to the rest, they are smiling, claiming to be honest and transparent when they are far off from being that.
